The South Ulster Academy Orchestra is open to all pupils who play strings, wind, brass, and percussion instruments in Post Primary Schools. 

Membership is £127 per annum (£63.50 remission) and weekly rehearsals take place on Saturdays, 9.30am-12.00pm (venue for 2023/24 tbc)

  • Repertoire is varied, challenging and from many different styles and genres; from well-known classical masterpieces right through to popular music from the stage and screen
  • Members are drawn from throughout the E.A. Southern Region area.  


The South Ulster Academy Orchestra performs at an end of season concert in Spring Term and also the Gala Concert/Prizegiving event
