Daniel Greer is one of our EA Music Service students and has very recently been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia which has spread rapidly and aggressively. He is in hospital in Belfast undergoing very intensive chemotherapy.
Daniel is now in a race against time to find a blood stem cell donor for a vital bone marrow transplant.
The chances of getting a bone marrow match is 1 in 10 MILLION so we are appealing to EVERYBODY to PLEASE take the time to register as a donor. YOU could be the match that Daniel needs to save his life.
Please spare a few minutes to see if you can help our much admired friend and student. Daniel has been studying trumpet with us for many years and is a valued member of both our South Ulster Youth Band and Big Band, and brings so much joy through music to others through his involvement in many other groups.
It only takes 2 minutes to register and have a swab kit send out. Please do it for Daniel!
