Springfest 2025, Musical!

Over 1600 children took part in a musical theatre themed session, which journeyed from Africa through to the Land Oz and finished in the Kingdom of Far, Far Away!

The workshops were a fantastic, shared experience for children from the various schools and feedback was overwhelmingly positive:

Primary 5 had the best time at Springfest in the Millennium Forum today! Hosted by the amazing music facilitators from the Education Authority, the event was packed with energy, fun and fabulous music. The boys and girls loved singing along and were blown away by the incredible orchestra! Opportunities like this highlight just how important music education is. It inspires creativity, builds confidence and brings so much joy! (KS2 Teacher)

A very simple line to communicate how well received Springfest was with our pupils and staff! Staff commented on ideas they were reminded of for use in class, whilst the pupils had a very enjoyable experience… (PS Principal)

Primary 5 and 6 had a fantastic morning attending Springfest at the Millennium Forum. The event was hosted by the music facilitators from the Education Authority…and the boys and girls had a ball singing along and thoroughly enjoyed listening to the fabulous orchestra! Springfest will return to the Millennium Forum on Wednesday 25th March 2026.  We look forward to seeing schools for more musical fun, creativity and joy next year!
