Intermediate Chamber Ensemble (ICE) presented with overall award
ICE achieved 1st place in the 'String Orchestra Open' class and were awarded the overall Festival Award for Orchestra.
The members of ICE represent 11 different schools from across the Greater Belfast area (St. Mary's CBGS, Victoria College Belfast, Dominican College Fortwilliam, Belfast Royal Academy, Aquinas Grammar School, Methodist College Belfast, St. Malachy's College Belfast, Grosvenor Grammar School, Rathmore Grammar School, Strathearn School and Assumption Grammar School).
Congratulations also to the Slancio String Quartet who also took home 1st Place in the Years 8 - 10 String Quartet Class and to the Attaca (Highly Commended), Allegro and Vivace String Quartets who placed in the String Quartet Open class.
