- Minimum Grade 3 standard
- Membership is £165.38 per annum (£148.84 for each additional child) for the academic year 2026/27. Those families in receipt of Free School Meals will receive a 70% remission and the cost will therefore be £49.61 (£44.65 for each additional child).

Belfast String Orchestra rehearses on Saturday mornings from 9.00 to 11.30am in Fane Street Primary School, Belfast. It is open to string players who have achieved a minimum level of Grade 3 on their instrument.
