  • Ulster Orchestra Come & Play

    The Ulster Orchestra invites musicians from grade 4 and above to join the orchestra in a day of rehearsal and performance.

  • Ulster Youth Orchestra

    The Ulster Youth Orchestra aims to develop young people through music by providing a creative, nurturing and inclusive environment in which talented, young musicians enhance their personal and musical development by receiving the highest standard of musical tuition, orchestral experience, and performance opportunities, thereby enriching the social and cultural life of Northern Ireland.

    Universal Music UK Sound Foundation is an independent music education charity, established in 1997 to celebrate the centenary of EMI Records and now generously supported by Universal Music. The Foundation’s aim is to improve access to music education in the UK & Ireland.

  • The Thomas Devlin Fund

    The Thomas Devlin Fund was established to promote public awareness of the effects and impact of gratuitous violence against young people in N. Ireland.

  • The Joan Trimble Awards

    The Joan Trimble Awards, administered by The Fermanagh Trust, were set up in 2002 in memory of the Enniskillen-born musician and composer. 

  • Awards for Young Musicians

    AYM began life as The Musicas Fund, which was established in 1998 from the sale proceeds of Robert Lewin’s collection of stringed instruments, bows and books.

  • National Youth Choirs of Great Britain

    NYCGB run five auditioned choirs for more than 700 talented members from around the UK aged 9-25. All members get to take part in inspirational residential courses and outstanding concerts and performances.

  • National Youth Choir of Northern Ireland

    The National Youth Choir of Northern Ireland, previously known as Ulster Youth Choir, was established in 1999 to provide the best of Northern Ireland’s young singers aged 11-24 with the opportunity to sing together to the highest possible standards receiving training from some of the best choral and vocal practitioners from throughout the UK and Ireland.
