The Ulster Youth Orchestra aims to develop young people through music by providing a creative, nurturing and inclusive environment in which talented, young musicians enhance their personal and musical development by receiving the highest standard of musical tuition, orchestral experience, and performance opportunities, thereby enriching the social and cultural life of Northern Ireland.
Universal Music UK Sound Foundation is an independent music education charity, established in 1997 to celebrate the centenary of EMI Records and now generously supported by Universal Music. The Foundation’s aim is to improve access to music education in the UK & Ireland.
NYCGB run five auditioned choirs for more than 700 talented members from around the UK aged 9-25. All members get to take part in inspirational residential courses and outstanding concerts and performances.
The National Youth Choir of Northern Ireland, previously known as Ulster Youth Choir, was established in 1999 to provide the best of Northern Ireland’s young singers aged 11-24 with the opportunity to sing together to the highest possible standards receiving training from some of the best choral and vocal practitioners from throughout the UK and Ireland.
