  • Post Primary school and 2 years' playing experience
  • Membership is £59 per annum (£53 for each additional child) for the academic year 2026/27. Those families in receipt of Free School Meals will receive a 70% remission and the cost will therefore be £18 (£16 for each additional child).  
  • Pupils who don't receive EA instrumental tuition are welcome to apply. Parents/carers should contact office below to check suitability

The Fermanagh Intermediate Wind Band is open to all pupils who play Wind, Brass and percussion instruments in post primary schools.

Weekly rehearsals take place after school on Wednesdays, 3.45pm-4.45pm in Enniskillen Royal GS Music department, Cooper Crescent site.

Repertoire is varied and challenging and from many different styles and genres; from well-known baroque and classical masterpieces right through to popular music from the stage and screen.

The FIWB perform in two concerts per year; one around Christmas and another at the end of the Spring term in St. Michael’s College GS and The Ardhowen Theatre.
