The Maghera Intermediate String Orchestra is open to all pupils at post primary level who have been learning for at least one year. The membership fee is £53.40 per annum (family discounts apply) and weekly rehearsals take place on Thursday afternoons at St Patrick's College, Maghera, 4.15pm – 5.15pm.
Repertoire is varied and challenging and from many different styles and genres; from well-known baroque and classical masterpieces right through to popular music from the stage and screen.
