Maghera Junior String Orchestra is open to all pupils who play string instruments in year 6 and 7 in Primary Schools.
Membership is £53.40 per annum (family discounts apply) and weekly rehearsals take place in St Patrick's College, Maghera on Thursdays, 4.15-5.15pm.
This is generally a young musician’s first experience of playing in a larger ensemble and helps to forge friendships, confidence and progress.
The Maghera Junior String Orchestra perform in two concerts per year; one around Christmas and another at the end of the Spring term.
