The Fermanagh Intermediate String Orchestra is open to all pupils who play string instruments in Post Primary Schools.
Membership is £48.40 per annum (family discounts apply) and weekly rehearsals take place in Mount Lourdes GS Main Assembly Hall after school on Thursdays, 3.45pm-4.45pm.
Repertoire is varied and challenging and from many different styles and genres; from well-known baroque and classical masterpieces right through to popular music from the stage and screen.
The FISO perform in two concerts per year; one around Christmas (in St. Michael’s College GS) and another at the end of the Spring term, normally in The Ardhowen Theatre.
