- Membership by tutor recommendation only and will be for mostly grade 5 upwards and participation in full-time education
- Membership of this ensemble costs £118 (£106 for each additional child) for the academic year 2026/27. The remission cost will be £35 (£32 for each additional child) per annum

Antrim Music Centre
The Northern Youth Orchestra is one of the flagship ensembles for Locality North and is open to our more advanced pupils who have gained Grade 5 or above and have been recommended by their tutor. They perform a varied repertoire ranging from classical to show and film music.
The Northern Youth Orchestra perform two concerts per year – a Christmas concert in Wellington Church Ballymena and as part of our Gala Spring concert
They have also toured in European cities such as Bruges, Stuttgart, Strasbourg and Berlin in recent years. They also performed at The Belfast Carols in the SSE Arena in December 2019.
