The South Ulster Academy Orchestra is open to all pupils who play strings, wind, brass, and percussion instruments in Post Primary Schools. 

Weekly rehearsals take place on Wednesdays, 6.15-8.15pm.

Repertoire is varied, challenging and from many different styles and genres; from well-known classical masterpieces right through to popular music from the stage and screen

Members are drawn from throughout the EA Southern Region area.  


The South Ulster Academy Orchestra performs at an end of season concert in Spring Term and also the Gala Concert/Prizegiving event
