City of Belfast Youth Orchestra's (CBYO) 'Chamber Serenade' at Parliament Buildings

EA Music's City of Belfast Youth Orchestra (CBYO) continued its year-long 70th Anniversary celebrations with a special "Chamber Serenade" held at the esteemed Parliament Buildings on Saturday 17th May. The event, hosted by Michelle McIlveen, MLA, provided an elegant backdrop for an evening of musical performance and commemoration.

The Chamber Serenade welcomed a distinguished audience comprising current and former CBYO staff, alongside family and friends of the orchestra's current members. The gathering underscored the enduring legacy and community spirit that has defined the CBYO over seven decades.

The concert showcased the talents of CBYO's musicians in a more intimate chamber setting with the programme featuring a selection of pieces tailored for smaller ensembles, highlighting the versatility and depth of the orchestra's members.

The performance served as a reminder of the City of Belfast Youth Orchestra's rich history and its ongoing commitment to nurturing young musical talent.
